Creating a Misc Template

Miscellaneous templates account for any labour and materials that isn't accounted for within a Merchant take-off. You can also create and use Misc templates to Pre Price your Subcontractor Jobs. 

• Log into Builda Price 
• Navigate to the person icon and select Settings

• Under Estimate Settings select Misc template 

• Click + Add 

• Populate details 
  • Template name 
  • Labour Rate (This can be removed once template has been created)
  • Description - For your own reference

• Select your newly created template and click, Populate template 

• Add a new section 
  • Populate with Section name
  • Section Type - Our work - work done by you and your team. 

                                   - Subcontractors work - work done by a subcontractor

                                   - Plant  - anything you might own that you are going to hire out to the client

• Click, Save

• Using the blue arrow, expand your subheading
• Click + Add
• Populate blank line with Item name

• We recommend leaving the quantities at zero within the template. This way you can always ensure the correct quantities are being applied to each project once imported
• You can apply your own labour factors within the template, alternatively once imported into an estimate you are able to use the Own Labour Estimate. 

• Continue to add line items until template is complete
• Best practice is to keep Labour and Materials separate
