Task Types

There are 6 different Task Types you can assign to your Tasks. Below is breakdown of what each Task Type means and how to assign them.

Task generated from an Estimate

• Task Types are respective from the section they are generated from in the Estimate
• Any sub tasks created will inherit the parent Task Type

• To assign your Tasks a Task Type, simply select the task and navigate to the task settings
• Under Task type select the dropdown box and apply the applicable Task Type
  • You have the ability to change a Task Type at any time

Task Types

 

• Tasks to be completed by your team 

• Tasks to be completed by a subcontractor

• Tasks that relate to items you own and hire out to the Client e.g. Mobile scaffolding, Bobcat, Kango

• Tasks that relate to any Sums 

• Internal Tasks e.g. Administration or Mileage 

• Task milestones e.g. Build section completed

General 

• Default Task Type. Manually created tasks will have a Task Type of General until an alternate Task Type has been assigned
