Adding tasks and sub tasks
How to Add tasks to a project. Tasks are what your workers will timesheet against.
Adding Tasks
- Select Tasks
- Select + Add task and start populating with your task
- Select Add
- Once added you can create sub tasks off the main task. To do this click the + button next to your task. You can create as many sub tasks as you need. This includes a sub task within a sub task.
- You can nest tasks, by dragging a task and bringing it under another task you can drop it and it will now become a sub task.
Budgets and Quotes for tasks/sub tasks
- On each Task and sub task you can add a Budget and Quote
- Select your Task or sub task
- Select the Financials heading
- To create a Budget and Quote for your task, select Create a budget/quote
- Populate with your Budget costs and repeat for your Quote costs
- Once updated, select Create a project budget version, displayed in the blue box
- This will take you to the financials under the Details heading where you will have Version 1 of your Budget and Quote.
- As you update your Estimate further this blue box will appear, prompting you to create new versions of your Budget and Quote.
