Managing Tasks
You have the ability to quickly and easily manage your Tasks and at a glace know if there is a Budget, Quote or Document allocated or attached to each Task and Sub Tasks.
Below is a breakdown of what each icon indicates and examples.
Icons:
Task has a Budget
Task has a Quote
Task has a document attached
Grey icon on a Parent Task indicates a Sub Task has a Budget
Grey icon on a Parent Task indicates a Sub Task has a Quote
Grey icon on Parent Task indicates a Sub Task has a document attached
Task is available on the Timesheet App
Task is not available on the Timesheet App
Examples:
- This task has a Budget, Quote and documents attached. It is available on the Timesheet App.
- This Task has a Budget and a Sub Task has an document attached. It is not available on the Timesheet App.
- This Task does not have a Budget, Quote or any documents attached. It's Sub Tasks have a Budget and Quote but no documents attached. It is available on the Timesheet App.
Turning Tasks On/Off
- To disable a Task simply click the Blue clock icon at the end of your Task. When the clock is Grey with a line through it, the task is not available on the Timesheet App.
- If the Parent Task is disabled, all Sub Tasks will also be disabled.
- A Sub Task can not be enabled if the Parent Task is disabled. To activate one Sub Task you will need to activate the Parent Task and disable all other Sub Tasks that are not relevant.
Example:
I want the Task Sub Framing available but I don't want Decking or Foundations available.
I ensure the Parent Task is available and proceed to disable the Sub Tasks that are not applicable.
