Once your team have downloaded the timesheet app, 'My Builda Price', from either the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store and you have provided your workers their login credentials, they are ready to timesheet!
- To log into 'My Builda Price', enter the 6 digit code that is provided to you into the prompted box and press 'Login'.
You can also log in with your accounts email and password instead.
- To enter a timesheet, select the 'Make a timesheet' button to find the project you would like to allocate time against.
- This will display all of your current projects.
-
- Find the project by scrolling through the list or use the search bar to search for the respective project, then press the blue arrow next to the name to navigate to the tasks for that project.
- Using the same technique, find the task you want to allocate time against, then press it to add it to your Timesheets page.
- Once the task you want to allocate time against is on the 'Timesheets' page, enter time spent on this task by tapping the zeroes to the right of your task name.
- Using the prompted function, select the amount of time spent on this task. The two numbers are for hours (left scroll on Apple, outer circle on Android) and minutes (right scroll on Apple, inner circle on Android).
Click 'Done' or 'OK' to enter the selected time.
- You may wish to add notes to the task to expand on what was completed during the task.
- Click the note icon to the right of the time entered.
-
- Write additional details about the selected task in the presented box.
- When the note is completed, press 'Click here to upload' to add it to the task.
-
- If you want to edit that note, simply follow the process again. The previous saved note will be in the box when you press the note button and you can make any necessary changes to it. Each task can only have one note at a time, so be sure to add all relevant information.
- You can also add and view other timesheets through the app.
To access the other timesheet menus, open the taskbar by pressing the three lines in the top left corner.
- When the taskbar is open, you can either navigate to the 'Timesheets' window or the 'Timesheet management' window by pressing on their respective buttons.
- The two windows have two different functionalities.
- 'Timesheets' brings you to the timesheet window, with the same functionality as previously described in the guide.
- 'Timesheet management' also allows you to add timesheets, but more importantly allows you to search through previous tasks by status, time, date range, and name.
- When you are on the 'Timesheet management' window, you can add or navigate through different timesheets and timesheet settings.
- To add a new timesheet, press the '+ New timesheet' button in the top right. This will open a menu with two drop-down menus, with which you can choose the worker and date of the timesheet.
- To select a date range to view, press the menu next to 'Date range'. This will open a drop-down menu with some shortcuts of recent date ranges to view, and a calendar that you can use to choose a specific date range. Use the blue arrows to select month, tap on the start date of your desired range, then tap the end date of your desired range. Once you have selected your range, press 'Apply' to view timesheets from that range.
- Once you have selected your range, you can narrow your search by specifying the status of the timesheets that are shown. Press the button labelled 'Status', then from the selection menu that is presented choose the status of the timesheets you want to view.
- To be extra specific, you can also use the search bar to search for the specific details of the timesheets.
