Position Report
Positions reports give you a level of reporting that will allow you to understand exactly where you stand as a company and on a project and task level based on Labour, Materials, Subcontractors and Sums budgeted and Labour, Materials, Subcontractors and Sums used.
Your positions report landing page will display a report on a company level. You are then able to drilldown into each project and task for a deep analysis of the work completed.
Progress - This data is showing how much of the project has been completed.
Current Position - This data shows you where you are sitting based on quote value, the budgeted value and the actual used - Labour, Materials and Subcontractors.
Forecast Position - This will provide your forecast from your progress, which will then give you a dollar value for your gross profit, this will be the difference between your quote and progress.
The gross profit margin is then calculated from your quote and your forecast.
Labour hours - This data presents the budget of man hours for the project or task selected, the actual hours allocated from timesheets. Clicking on the actual will bring up the correlating timesheets.
Used is calculated on by the budget and hours used.
The forecast is calculated from your your progress, the remaining is the difference between your forecast and actual.
Variance accounts for any overruns or underruns in a percentage value.
Financial breakdown - This will show the budgets for Labour, Materials, Subcontractors and Sums.
The actual Materials and Subcontractors figures can be selected to show the bills allocated.
The used line is a percentage value.
The quote line is the committed quote from the Quote section in the project.
You will be able to see the Charge-up Value based on the timesheets allocated also the Materials based on their profit margins applied on the project or task, if different.
Quote Position - The Quote Position displays the current value of work completed, quoted value and includes a forecast which gives the builder a view from the clients perspective as this is GTS inclusive. This data is presented on a Project or Task level.
Actual Value - Highlights the charge out value including markup or margin % applied plus GST.
Each level is exportable into a .csv format.
