Signing In and Out of a Site

Signing in and out of a site records your entry and exit times at a site.

The hazard board for each site will contain a unique QR code for signing in. This must be scanned every time you enter the site.

Accessing QR code scanner

The QR code scanner can be accessed from three different locations within the app:

1.    Launch screen

Opening the app from a fresh launch will automatically open the QR code scanner.

2.    Home Screen

On the home screen, tap the topmost tile labelled “SITE SCAN IN”.

3.    Hamburger menu

From anywhere in the app, tap the menu icon in the top right corner of the screen or swipe left from the right edge of the screen. This will open a menu containing user information and site status. Tap the second button marked “Tap to sign into site” to open the QR code scanner.

 

What if the QR code is unavailable?

If the QR code is unable to be scanned due to a damaged QR code or broken camera, a backup code can be entered to sign into a site. On the QR scanner screen, tap the red button marked “Can’t scan code?”

On the following screen, enter the 6-digit side code, which can be found on the hazard board.

Scan-in process

1.    Scan QR code or enter site code

2.    Login

Login using your Builda Price account. If you do not have an account you can login as a guest. This step is skipped if you are already logged in.

3.    Sign In Type

Select your reason for being on site. If the site is not configured to have multiple sign in types this step is skipped.

4.    Site induction

If this is your first time on site or you haven’t been on site recently you will be presented with a series of safety documents related to the site. Please take the time to read through these documents and ensure you have the correct PPE before entering the site.

View current site

The site which you are currently signed into is displayed at the top of the home page on the green tile:

The current site can also be viewed from anywhere in the app through the hamburger menu.

Signing out of a site

When you leave a site, please remember to sign out by tapping the green tile on the home screen or the “Tap to sign out of site” button in the hamburger menu.
