Project specific charge out rate
You are able to set project specific charge out rates for your workers. These charge out rates work alongside workers default charge out rates which can be set in Settings > Workers.
When a worker creates a timesheet, the system will check to see if the worker has a specific charge out rate set for that project, if so, the applicable rate will be applied. If no project specific charge out rate has been applied, the system will simply use the workers default charge out rate. These rates are recorded at the moment the timesheet is created, so changing that workers rates later will have no effect on existing timesheets.
Set project specific charge out rates:
- Open your selected project and navigate to the Project tab on the left side
- Select Settings
- Scroll down and select 'Edit worker charge out rates'
- A dialog box will open where you can click the override button and enter a custom rate for each worker to be used instead of their default rate for that particular project.
- You can also clear a custom rate to go back to the worker's default.
- Clicking the Cancel button will return everything to the way it was before you opened the dialog.
- Once you are done click the Save button.
The custom rates will now be applied to future timesheets.
- Clicking the Save and Apply button will both save the custom rates and backdate them across all pre-existing timesheets for the job.

- While this cannot be undone if a mistake is made, it is possible to re-enter the correct charge-out rate and hit Save and Apply again.
