Pre-pricing jobs for your Subcontractors
If you are able to obtain a SQM rate or hourly rate from your subcontractor, using Miscellaneous templates you are able to pre price your subcontractor jobs.
Once you have your subcontractors rate you can create a new Misc template for that subcontractor.
- Click +Add
- Populate templates details
- Template name
- Labour Rate - This can be removed once the template has been created if your subcontractor has given you a SQM rate only
- Description
- Save
- Select your newly created template and click Populate template
- Select Add a new section and populate,
- Section Name
- Section Type (Subcontractors Work)
- Work Type (Trade they preform)
- Save
- Click the blue arrow to expand the subheading you have created
- Remove Labour Rate if a SQM rate only has been supplied
- To add line items to your template, click +Add. This will generate a blank line item for you to populate
- Item - Item name
- Qty - best practice to keep Qty at 0 within the template unless there is a minimum requirement for every job
- Material Rate - enter SQM rate
- When adding subcontractor details it should be applied in the material rate section. The quantity will times the material rate.
- Repeat for all line items in that subheading
Adding another subheading to your template
- Select Add a new section and enter,
- Section Name
- Section Type (Subcontractors Work)
- Work Type (Trade they preform)
- Save
- To add line items to your template, click +Add
- This will generate a blank line item for you to populate
- Item - Item name e.g. Interior Walls
- Qty - best practice to keep Qty at 0 within the template unless there is a minimum requirement for every job
- Material Rate - SQM rate
- When adding subcontractor details it should be applied in the material rate section. The quantity will times the material rate.
- Repeat for all line items in that subheading
