Xero payroll integration 

How to integrate your Xero Payroll.

As your Hourly workers log their timesheets using the Builda Price app that data populates the Payroll section. The payroll data can then be exported straight to Xero Payroll, negating the need for any manual data entry.

• First ensure that your Builda Price account is connected to your Xero account.
  
  • The Xero integration can be found in Settings under the Company Settings heading
• Select the status you want your timesheets to be sent to Xero as
  • Approved or Draft

• Under the People heading select Workers
• Edit each worker by selecting their name
• Add their applicable Xero employee

• If you cannot find the worker you are looking for once you have begun typing their name click the update Xero employees link from the drop down selection box.

• Now select the appropriate Xero Earnings Type for each employee

• Click Save after the details have been entered for each worker.

Export the payroll report to Xero

Once your workers have been set up the integration is now complete.

• To utilize this feature under the Reports heading select Payroll.
• Select the date range

• The Payroll report will display all your workers, or you can filter to display a single worker.

• You can now export this straight to Xero Payroll. Click the Export Report button located in the top right of your screen.
• Select Export to Xero.
  • Wait until you see the confirmation pop-up.

 

• You can now log into Xero, select Payroll and complete your payroll process as usual.

To view and access the timesheets that have been sent from Builda Price to Xero

• Login to Xero
•  Select Payroll (in Xero)
  • Timesheets
  • Select the calendar you want to view (weekly, monthly)
  • You will see the hours for each day against each employee
    • If you need to make changes you can do these here, otherwise edit the timesheet in Builda Price and resend through to Xero.
  • Complete your pay run as usual
