Edit the Cost calculator
If you need to change the costs for any of your workers or adjust your organization cost calculator template, below are the steps to add a new template to the cost calculator, edit a template and update a workers costs using the cost calculator.
This also covers how to make a cost calculator the organisation default and how to delete a cost calculator template.
To add a new template
- Select a worker
- Click 'Use Calculator'
- Select '+ Add New'
- Enter in the new cost calculator template name
- Select the applicable costs
- '+ Add Item' any extra costs that are not pre populated
- Click 'Save Calculator' in the bottom right hand corner
- Click 'Use Calculated' to apply any new costs
- Click 'Set Worker Cost Rate'
To Edit a Cost Calculator Template
- Select a worker
- Click 'Use Calculator'
- Select 'Edit Template'
- Here you can edit cost calculator template name
- Select the applicable costs
- ' + Add Item' any extra costs that are not pre populated
- Click 'Save Calculator' in the bottom right hand corner
- Click 'Use Calculated' to apply any new costs
- Click 'Set Worker Cost Rate'
Setting the default organization cost calculator
- Select a worker
- Click 'Use Calculator'
- Select your cost calculator you want to use as the organization default template from the drop down selection
- Click 'Make organization default'
- Each time you create a new worker the selected default template will be used to calculate the worker cost
- To change the workers cost you can either select another template from the drop down selection or edit template
Delete a cost calculator template
- Select a worker
- Click 'Use Calculator'
- Select the template you want to delete from the drop down selection
- Click 'Delete template'
